Problem

Using Data Driven Visuals and Short Videos to Build Habit Forming Crypto Engagement

Facing a challenge of low traffic the CoinRank team leveraged data insights to discover their audience craves visual and short form video content. With this they set out to create engaging experiences that turn casual viewers into habitual users. As Jason CEO and co Founder puts it "The crypto world is complicated. It can be weird scary and most of all unknown. Many people recognize the opportunity and want to be a part of it but are fearful because they don't fully understand it." CoinRank’s mission is to transform that fear into confidence making every video a step toward users habitually opening the platform.



Turning Crypto Attention into Real Growth


CoinRank had strong content and a clear product vision but struggled to convert attention into user action. Despite producing high-quality Shorts and building brand awareness, users weren’t returning or signing up. There was no structured funnel to guide viewers back to the product.

Jason approached Anchor with a clear goal — to fix the missing link between content and conversion. What he needed wasn’t more videos but a system that could turn interest into registrations and drive habit formation around CoinRank.

When designing CoinRank, Jason shared how crypto investing in 2023 was confusing and intimidating for most. Many platforms pushed users to social media without a clear return path, leaving everyday investors lost. Jason wanted a platform that makes crypto accessible with clear guidance and real choice.

To tackle low retention and brand recall, we built a closed loop funnel using short videos, guided landing pages, and calls to action for bookmarking and registration to drive habit formation.

To address low engagement and retention, we designed a content experience with one clear goal:

forming a habit loop between video content and product use.

Each short-form video was tied to a trending crypto news story, helping users make sense of real-time events.


Beneath every video, users were guided to a single, purpose-built landing funnel that combined market data with a bold and memorable visual identity.


The goal was not just clicks. We wanted users to experience that Aha moment — the instant they realized CoinRank could simplify a chaotic market. From there, registration became a natural next step and engagement followed.
